This allows fast deployability of the SLAMDAM^® for various purposes. Also on locations that are less easy to reach. The great benefit of SLAMDAM^® compared to traditional sandbags, for instance, is that far less transportation and human effort are required to construct an emergency dam, quickly and effectively. Also in case of calamities, the SLAMDAM^® will allow fast deployability. It will be possible to build a reservoir in no time, e.g. around a location where contaminated extinguishing water may pose a threat to the direct vicinity.
